Kingston Street Art Festival – Celebrating 5 Years of Colour and Creativity

For the past five years, The Royal Borough of Street Art team has been actively working to inject life and colour into dull, unloved spaces around Kingston. The project was born during lockdown, when we noticed a shift in how people valued and used outdoor spaces.

Driven by a passion to support artists, shift perspectives and give back to the community, we've spent years identifying locations, securing permissions and making ideas happen.

In that time, we’ve welcomed over 100 artists to town and provided them with unique canvases to bring their work to life.

This summer’s festival is a celebration of those five years of curation and creativity, a chance for the community and visitors to see murals being created live and watch the artists at work.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Kingston town centre on the 23rd and 24th of August for what promises to be an exciting, colourful celebration of urban art.

This festival has been funded by Kingston First community fund: www.kingstonfirst.co.uk/communty-fund
